BEAT BAKERY: Junk Drums

Deep in the depths of lockdown, whilst trying to push our creativity, we tasked the dopest Boom Bap, Lofi & Hip Hop producer from the Prime Loops squad with building a unique drum pack. Taking inspiration from what was around him, inside the home! Utilising everyday household items for the initial sound source, these were recorded and then run through a variety of analog equipment to deliver a distinct selection of aesthetics.

Firstly the Junk folders - these contain everything that could be found and recorded around the house, layered up and processed; delivering a truly unique selection of one-shots to create your own drum loops or to add some extra special vibes to your average run-of-the-mill beats. We've also got 30 pre-made junk loops ready to go with all the looseness and swag you'd expect from a Boom Bap beatmaker!

Next up we have some hard-hitting Boom Bap drum loops and one-shots, infused with that perfect 90's flavour and achieved by processing the sounds through some classic equipment and adding some subtle layers of the recorded household sounds to deliver that je ne sais quoi!

Following on from that we take things Lo-Fi! Drum loops and one-shots degraded with cassette grains and layered with textures to bring out the grittiness and enhance the Lo-Fi crunch. Those textures are also then supplied in rhythmic loops on their own to give you even more flexibility with the sounds!

The pack contains 607 total files, with full drum kits included and tempos ranging between 80-90BPM, are delivered in 24 Bit WAV Format and are, of course, 100% Royalty-Free.
